Sealing Flange Assembly Overview





1 Bolt, 90 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn

2 Crankshaft Toothed Belt Gear

3 Bolt, 15 Nm

4 Seal

• Do not additionally oil or grease the sealing lip of the oil seal.

• Replacing, refer to => [ Crankshaft Seal, Belt Pulley Side ] Service and Repair.

5 Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side

• Must be located on the alignment pins.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side ] Service and Repair.

• To remove and install, remove the oil pan.

6 Cylinder Block

• Oil pump with differential shaft gear, removing and installing => [ Oil Pump with Balance Shaft Drive ] Oil Pump with Balance Shaft Drive.

• Crankshaft assembly overview. Refer to => [ Crankshaft Assembly Overview ] Crankshaft Assembly Overview.

• Piston and connecting rod assembly overview. Refer to => [ Piston and Connecting Rod Assembly Overview ] Service and Repair.

7 Bolt, 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn

• Always replace.

8 Flywheel

• To remove and install the flywheel, secure using the flywheel retainer (3067).

9 Intermediate Plate

• Must be located on the alignment pins.

• Do not damage or bend when doing assembly work.

10 Sealing Flange with Seal

• Only replaced as a complete assembly.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sealing Flange, Flywheel Side ] Sealing Flange, Flywheel Side.

11 Diamond Disc

• Always replace.
