Hose/Line Assembly or Plastic Line

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose Clamps up to 25 mm Dia. (3094)

Removing

- Remove the entire air filter housing. Refer to one of the following:

Diesel engine.

Gas engine.

• While performing the following work, make sure that no brake fluid comes into contact with the longitudinal member or with the transmission. If this happens, these areas must be cleaned thoroughly.

- Clamp off the supply hose to the master cylinder using the (3094).





Disconnect the hose/line assembly or plastic line from master cylinder as follows:

- Disengage the circlip - 3 - with a screwdriver and remove the line - 1 - and O-ring - 2 -.





CAUTION!
Do not press the clutch pedal after disconnecting the line.

Disconnect the hose/line assembly or plastic line from the breather as follows:

- Disengage the circlip - 2 - with a screwdriver or a pointed tool and disconnect the line - 4 - with O-ring - 3 - from the breather - 1 -.





Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

- Install the hose/line assembly or plastic line - 1 - with a new O-ring - 2 - to the master cylinder connection - 4 - until the securing clip - 3 - engages audibly.





- Gently pull on the line to check installation.

- Install the line with O-ring - 3 - to the breather connection until the secure clip engages audibly.





- Gently pull on the line to check installation.

- Bleed the clutch system. Refer to => [ Clutch System, Bleeding ] Procedures.

- Install the entire air filter housing.
