Output Shaft: Service and Repair

Right Flange Shaft Needle Bearing - 02E, 6 Speed DSG A/T FWD

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Pressure plate VW 401
^ Pressure plate VW 402
^ Punch VW 407
^ Punch VW 412
^ Alignment fixture VAS 3253
^ Assembly tool T10047

Procedure
- Remove right flange shaft.





- Install assembly tool T10047 so that the marks "B" on both parts of the tool face each other.

^ The sections -arrows- must then be located under the bearing.

- Screw both parts together until they stop.





- Remove circlip -A- for bearings.





- Rotate the shaft while removing -arrow-. This way the bearing running surface on the shaft will not get damaged.
- Secure bearing with a new circlip.
- Install right flange shaft.
