Fuel Rail, Separating From The Intake Manifold

NOTE: The intake manifold must be removed.







- Remove EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve - arrow - from the bracket.
- Loosen double check-valve - 1 - and the fuel line - 2 -.







- Open hose clamp - 1 -.
- Loosen both bolts - arrows - from the fuel rail.
- Disconnect fuel rail from the intake manifold.

Installation
- Tighten fuel line.
- Further installation is in reverse order of removal.
- Connect electrical connector.
- Install intake manifold.

Tightening Specifications
Adapter for the fuel line 25 Nm
to the fuel rail
Fuel line (union nut) to 18 Nm
