Upper A-Pillar Trim

• Removal and installation is described for the right side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the left side is identical.

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove the sun visors. Refer to => [ Sun Visor ] Sun Visor

- Remove the interior rearview mirror:

• Interior rearview mirror: => [ Interior Rearview Mirror ] Interior Rearview Mirror

• Rearview mirror with rain sensor:=> [ Interior Rearview Mirror with Rain Sensor ] Interior Rearview Mirror with Rain Sensor

- Remove switch unit and lights in roof crossmember trim.

- Remove lower roof crossmember trim. Refer to => [ Lower Roof Crossmember Trim ] Lower Roof Crossmember Trim

- Remove roof edge trim. Refer to => [ Roof Edge Trim ] Roof Edge Trim

- Remove side instrument panel covers. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Covers ] Instrument Panel Side Covers

- Remove center trim on A-pillars. Refer to => [ Center A-pillar Trim ] Center A-pillar Trim

- Remove trim in area of mounting clip - 1 - inward from mounts - arrow A -.

• For the sake of illustration, securing elements - 1 - are depicted as removed in the illustration.

- Loosen trim from door seal molding - B arrows -.

- Remove trim from front mounts in instrument cluster - arrow C -.

- Remove trim upward out of mounts - arrow D -.

• Check the clips for damage and replace if necessary.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
