Oil Filter: Service and Repair

Oil Filter Bracket

Removing

- Remove the intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

- Disconnect the coolant pipes. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the oil cooler by removing the bolt - A and B -.






- Disconnect the connector - A - from the oil pressure switch and remove the ground wire bolt- B -.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the oil filter bracket.

Installing

- Replace the gaskets => [ (Item 7) Gasket ] Service and Repair and => [ (Item 14) Gasket ] Service and Repair.

- Insert the oil baffle => [ (Item 13) Oil Baffle ] Service and Repair.

- Install the oil filter bracket and tighten the bolts uniformly to 15 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

- Install the oil cooler with the bracket for the coolant pipes.

Further installation is in reverse order of removal.
