Mount, Front Headlight, Installation and Adjustment
After headlight mount replacement, headlights will not fully seat or install correctly. Headlight mount will not lock.
Technical Background
The headlight mount must be installed or adjusted to the proper specifications prior to installing the headlight. Failure to adjust the mount correctly can cause the following conditions.
^ Headlight gasket not fitted properly in the fascia.
^ Headlight lock mechanism malfunction.
^ Damage to the headlight mount lock mechanism during headlight installation.
^ Incomplete seating of the headlight connector after headlight installation.
