Incorrect assembly of the reinforcement, P.N.1Y0 813 389 due to weld splatter located on the studs of the rear bumper.

Service





1. Disassemble rear bumper module ( bumper cover and rear mudwings).See Repair Manual Group 63-Body in ElsaWeb.
2. Disassemble reinforcement.See Repair Manual Group 53 Body in ElsaWeb.
3. With the help of a chisel, remove the weld pieces adhered to the bolts, to ensure a correct assembly of the reinforcement to the rear apron.
4. Assemble reinforcement.See Repair Manual Group 53 Body in ElsaWeb.





5. Assemble rear bumper module starting from call-out number 1 to call-out number 10 (from center to both sides of the bumper cover) as shown in the illustration
6. Tighten the rest of the screws of the bumper module, following the sequence indicated in the Repair Manual Group 53 Body in ElsaWeb.
