Small Trim, Adjusting






Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible

Small Trim, Adjusting

Large and small trim borders may have different gap dimensions with respect to side trim borders.

- Gap dimensions - C -, - D - should be between 3.5 and 4.5 mm to avoid jamming or damaging when opening or closing the trims.





The small trim may show a different height with respect to the side trim.

- Height - B - should be same height as side trim to avoid jamming or damage when opening or closing trim.





Adjusting trim height - B -.

Adjusting gap dimension C and D

- Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible.

- Remove bolts - 1 -.





- Align trim module - 2 - in the - direction of the arrow -.

- Tighten bolts to - 1 - to 3 Nm.

- Check gap dimension - C - and - D - for a distance of 3.5 to 4.5 mm and repeat the adjustment if necessary.





- Install side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible.

Adjusting trim height B

- Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible.

- Remove the main frame of the lid module. Refer to => [ Small Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview ] Small Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview and => [ Large Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview ]. Item 7 Large Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview

- Remove bolts - 1 -.





- The height and angle in areas - A -, - B - and - C - can be changed by screwing bolts - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - in or out.





1 = A

2 = B

3 = C

- Tighten bolts to - 1 - to 3 Nm.





- Install the main frame of the lid module. Refer to => [ Small Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview ] Small Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview and => [ Large Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview ]. Item 7 Large Trim Lid Module Assembly Overview

- Check trim height - B - and readjust if necessary.





- Install side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Pillar and Side Trims, Convertible.
