Assembly overview 02Q, 6 Speed M/T





1 - Transmission
2 - Input shaft seal
3 - Slave cylinder with release bearing
^ Are one unit and can only be replaced together
^ Do not wash-out bearing, only wipe off
^ If bearing is noisy, replace together with slave cylinder
^ Divided supply line on some slave cylinders
4 - Bolt
^ Qty. 3
^ Always replace
^ For metal slave cylinder, 12 Nm
^ For plastic slave cylinder, 15 Nm
^ Carefully tighten diagonally in small stages so that slave cylinder bolting eyelets do not break off
5 - O-ring
^ Always replace
^ Pull onto line connection
^ Install with brake fluid
