Instrument Panel Center Vent (vehicles Without Climatronic), Removing And Installing

NOTE: To provide a better overview, components are shown removed in the following illustration.

Removing
- Remove carpet mat - 1 - from storage compartment.
- Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).
- Remove storage compartment - 3 - from air outlet - 4 -.

Vehicles with Climatronic
Items - 5 -,- 6 -,- 7 -,- 8 - and - 9 - only apply to vehicles with Climatronic.

Instrument panel center vent (vehicles with Climatronic), removing







NOTE: The two screws - 1 -in this location are already removed on vehicles without Climatronic.

- Place two trim removal wedges 3409 in lower vent seam - arrows - and press vent upward out of instrument panel mounts.







- Press the corresponding catches and disconnect wiring harnesses from passenger airbag warning light switch and indicator light.







Installing
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
