Drivers Side Left Trim, Removing And Installing

Removing

NOTE: For clarity, the steering wheel is not depicted in the illustration, it is not necessary to remove it.

- Switch off ignition.
- Remove side instrument panel cover on front passenger-side.
- Press rotary light switch toward front, rotate it toward right until it stands vertically, now pull it out and disconnect wiring harness.
- Remove steering column trim gap cover from instrument panel. It is not necessary to remove the complete steering column trim.





- Remove storage compartment - 1 - from mounts.
- Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).
- Remove the two bolts - 3 - (1.5 Nm).
- Remove bolt - 4 - (1.5 Nm).
- Disengage trim panel from instrument panel and disconnect wiring harness from headlamp range control.

Installing
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: When installing, bolts must be installed in the sequence - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 - (1.5 Nm).
