Release Cable Coupling, Disconnecting

Disengage release cable







- Loosen release cable coupling - 1 - over headlamp on drivers side of lock carrier - 2 -from clips - 3 -.
- Open release cable coupling - 1 - upward in - direction of arrow b - and remove cable - 4 - in - direction of arrow a - from coupling - 1 -.

Release cable, engaging







- Take release cable - 4 - and engage it in - direction of arrow a - in cable coupling - 1 -.
- Connect release cable coupling - 1 - in - direction of arrow b - and lock coupling in clips - 3 - on lock carrier - 2 -.

NOTE: When installing, make sure that release cable sleeve is inserted correctly and coupling is locked.

- Before the hood is closed, a function test of the operating lever and release cable must be performed.
