Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, erasing, 01M, 4 Spd. A/T

Requirement
^ DTC memory has been checked.
After DTC memory has been checked:





Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -5- to select Erase DTC memory function 05.





Indicated on display
- Confirm entry with -Q- button.

Note:
^ If the ignition was switched off between checking the DTC memory and erasing the DTC memory, the DTC memory will not be erased.
^ Always adhere strictly to the sequence of operations, i.e. first check DTC memory.

(The DTC memory will be erased approximately 5 seconds after the display appears.)

Note: Wait about 1 minute before again checking the DTC memory.

The TCM -J217- was not given sufficient time to recognize malfunctions.
- Wait about 1 minute before again checking DTC memory.
- After checking and erasing DTC memory, test drive vehicle and check DTC memory again.
The following display should appear
No DTC recognized!
