Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor, Checking

Requirements
- Fuse for secondary air injection pump in battery main fuse holder must be OK.
- Secondary air injection pump vacuum lines not blocked or kinked

Work sequence
- Remove engine cover.
- Remove pressure hose in secondary air injection pump motor.
- Activate secondary air injection pump relay via final control diagnosis, Adapting functions and components. Programming and Relearning

Secondary air injection pump motor must run at intervals and air must exit at outlet union.

If motor runs but no air is pumped out:
- Replace secondary air injection pump motor.

If secondary air injection pump motor does not run at intervals:
- Check activation of secondary air injection pump motor, Adapting functions and components. Programming and Relearning
