Glove Box Light -W6-, Removing And Installing

Removing

CAUTION:
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.







- Insert screwdriver behind lens and carefully pry outwards.

CAUTION: During removal, ensure light switch-off lever (where applicable) is not damaged.

- Pull out lens with bulb holder and microswitch
- Disconnect electrical connection.
- Replace 12 V /3 W bulb as necessary

Installing
- Connect electrical connection.







NOTE:
- To ease illustration, glove compartment is shown removed.
- Where applicable, note orientation of switch when installing: light switch-off lever must be in down position.

- Insert lens with bulb holder and microswitch in glove box and clip-in.
Perform functional check of light and switch: Light must go out with glovebox lid closed.
