Washer Fluid Reservoir From 10.00, Removing And Installing
Removing
CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Move lock carrier and front bumper reinforcement into service position
- Remove left front wheel housing liner
NOTE:
- On vehicles equipped with 1.8L Turbo engines, it may also be necessary to remove the intercooler
- It may also be necessary to remove the horns.
- Remove screws -arrows-, lift out power steering reservoir and carefully lay to one side (hoses remain connected.).
- Remove fastener -arrow- at long member.
- Disconnect electrical connections -1-, -3 and -5-.
- Separate hose -7- from pump -6-.
- On vehicles with headlight washers, separate hose coupling -4- from pump -2-.
- Remove screws -arrows- and remove reservoir assembly.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Torque all fasteners according to value in table.
On vehicles with headlight washer system:
- After assembly is complete, bleed system.
