Undamaged Side Window, Removing

- Remove upper C-/D-pillar trim.
- Remove side cushion.







- Remove phillips head bolt - 1 - and remove belt guide - 2 - upward.







- Cutting length of Knife V.A.G 1561/19 must be Placed to following length corresponding to cutting area depicted in illustration

1. Cutting area = 20 mm
2. Cutting area = 27 mm
3. Cutting area = 35 mm

NOTE: If specified cutting lengths are not observed, sealing lips will certainly be destroyed (window is destroyed) and paint and water deflector will be damaged.







- Cut through adhesive sealant using Electric cutter V.A.G 1561 A and Cutting blade V.A.G 1561/19 (with stopper roll).







- Upper corner area - 3 - may possibly need to be reworked using a knife.
