Clutch Hydraulic System, Assembly Overview



Clutch hydraulic system, assembly overview, 01A, 5 SPD. M/T (AWD)





1. Brake fluid reservoir
2. Supply hose
^ For clutch master cylinder

3. Hose/line assembly
^ Disconnect from master cylinder
^ Disconnect from slave cylinder
^ Allocation Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

4. Grommet
5. Mounting bracket
6. Clutch pedal
7. Clutch master cylinder
^ Do not operate clutch pedal after removal.
^ Clip - arrow A - and seal - arrow B - must not be removed
^ To remove hose/line assembly, pull out clip - arrow A - only to stop

8. Socket head bolt, 20 Nm
9. Mount
^ Replace only with master cylinder removed
^ Pry off
^ Press in

10. Transmission
11. Clutch slave cylinder
^ Do not operate clutch pedal after removal.
^ Brake fluid must not penetrate into transmission
^ After working on hydraulic clutch mechanism, bleed clutch system Clutch system, bleeding

12. Bleeder valve, 4.5 Nm
13. Dust cap
14. Clip
^ To remove line, pull out clip until stop

15. Bracket
^ For hose/line assembly
^ Secured to slave cylinder on transmission

16. Socket head bolt, 25 Nm
^ Slave cylinder at transmission
^ Self-locking
^ Always replace

17. Hex nut, tighten to 2 Nm.
18. Gasket
19. Mounting bolt
^ For brake fluid reservoir

Pressing in operating rod/master cylinder into mount - A - in direction of - arrow -





Disconnecting slave cylinder from hose/line assembly

Removing
^ To remove hose/line assembly, clip - A - must be pried out to stop using a screwdriver. Only after that can hose/line assembly be disconnected.

Installing
^ Press in securing clip - A - to stop.
^ Insert hose/line assembly - B - in slave cylinder until line engages audibly.
^ To check, pull on hose/line assembly.
