Valve Body, Assembly Overview (Transmission With Hydraulic Control E18/2)



Valve body, assembly overview (transmission with hydraulic control E18/2), 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)

CAUTION: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

^ Valve body can also be removed with transmission removed.
^ Insert O-rings with ATF. Other lubricants cause malfunctions of the hydraulic transmission controls.
^ Always replace a soiled or faulty valve body.
^ Do not use fluffy cloths!
^ After re-installing oil pan, check ATF level and top off





1. Drain plug, 40 Nm
^ with seal
^ Always replace

2. Bolt, 10 Nm
^ Tighten oil pan bolts in several stages in a diagonal sequence

3. Oil pan

4. Gasket
^ Always replace

5. Oil strainer
6. Bolt, 8 Nm
^ for securing valve body, 16 bolts M6x60
^ Observe tightening sequence

7. Valve body
^ Allocation according to transmission code letters original parts distributor

8. Bolt, 8 Nm
9. Bracket
^ for wiring harness
^ hook in wiring harness
^ fastened with bolts for valve body

10. Bolt, 6 Nm
11. Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G38 / Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195

12. Spacer sleeve
^ Height: 8 mm

13. Inner oil line
^ Always replace

14. O-ring Always replace coat with ATF and insert
15. Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G22 / Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G68

16. O-ring Always replace coat with axle oil and insert
17. Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
^ Selector shaft seal, replacing

18. Bolt, 8 Nm
19. O-ring Always replace coat with ATF and insert
20. Retaining clip ^Always replace
21. Wiring harness
^ Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor G93 is integrated into the wiring harness
^ Installation position of wiring harness connectors: Flat spot of rear collar faces toward oil pan; tabs on collar are horizontal.

22. Bolt, 9 Nm
23. Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182
24. Connector
^ Is disconnected from wiring harness in transmission
^ Must be disconnected before removing the valve body

25. Bolt, 6 Nm
26. Bracket
^ for solenoid

27. Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 1 N215
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

28. Solenoid Valve 3 N90
^ Without O-ring

29. Solenoid Valve 2 N89
^ Without O-ring

30. Bolt, 6 Nm
31. Bracket
^ for solenoid valve

32. Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 3 N217
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

33. Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 4 N218
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

34. Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 2 N216
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

35. Solenoid Valve 1 N88
^ Without O-ring

36. Bolt, 6 Nm
37. Magnet
^ Qty. 4, in depressions of oil pan
^ Clean each time the oil pan is removed
^ Make sure entire surface contacts oil pan

38. Seal
^ Always replace

39. ATF check plug
