Valve Body, Assembly Overview (Transmission With Hydraulic Control E17)



Valve body, assembly overview (transmission with hydraulic control E17), 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)

CAUTION: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

^ Valve body can also be removed with transmission installed.
^ Insert O-rings with ATF. Other lubricants cause malfunctions of the hydraulic transmission controls.
^ Always replace a soiled or faulty valve body.
^ Do not use fluffy cloths!
^ After re-installing oil pan, check ATF level and top off





1. Drain plug, 40 Nm
^ with seal
^ Always replace
^ Remove to drain ATF

2. Bolt, 10 Nm
^ Tighten oil pan bolts in several stages in a diagonal sequence

3. Oil pan
4. Gasket
^ Always replace

5. Magnet
^ Qty. 4, in depressions of oil pan
^ Clean each time the oil pan is removed
^ Make sure entire surface contacts oil pan

6. Oil strainer
7. Gasket
^ pull off from oil strainer using Kukko puller 18/0
^ press onto suction collar of oil strainer

8. Bolt, 8 Nm
^ For mounting valve body: 1 bolt M6x30, 16 bolts M6x60
^ Observe tightening sequence

9. Valve body
^ Allocation according to transmission code letters original parts distributor

10. Bracket
^ for wiring harness hook in wiring harness fastened with bolts for valve body

11. Bolt, 6 Nm
12. Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G38 / Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195
13. Spacer sleeve
^ Height: 8 mm

14. Inner oil line
^ Always replace

15. O-ring Always replace coat with ATF and insert
16. Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G22
17. O-ring Always replace coat with axle oil and insert
18. Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
19. Bolt, 8 Nm
20. O-ring
^ Always replace
^ coat with ATF and insert

21. Retaining clip
^ Always replace

22. Wiring harness
^ Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor G93 is integrated into the wiring harness
^ Installation position of wiring harness connectors: Flat spot of rear collar faces toward oil pan; tabs on collar are horizontal.

23. Bolt, 6 Nm
24. Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182
25. Spacer sleeve
^ Height: 20 mm

26. Bolt, 6 Nm
27. Bracket
^ for solenoid

28. Solenoid Valve 4 N91
^ With O-ring
^ Remove and install valve body to replace Valve body, disassembly and assembly sequence (transmission with hydraulic control E17)
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

29. Solenoid Valve 3 N90
^ Without O-ring

30. Solenoid Valve 2 N89
^ Without O-ring

31. Bolt, 6 Nm
32. Bracket
^ for solenoid valve

33. Solenoid Valve 6 N93
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

34. Solenoid Valve 7 N94
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

35. Solenoid Valve 5 N92
^ With O-ring
^ Coat O-ring with ATF and insert

36. Solenoid Valve 1 N88
^ Without O-ring
^ Remove and install oil pan
^ When installing, do not tighten bolts for guide plate (23 Nm) in selector lever position "P".

37. Bolt, 6 Nm
38. Seal
^ Always replace

39. ATF check plug
