Shift Interlock Cable: Adjustments

Locking cable, adjusting, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)





^ Loosen bolt - 6 -.
^ It must be possible to slide bracket - 3 - in direction of arrow - 5 - by hand.
^ Adjust steering column toward rear and downward.
^ Insert adjustment pin for shift lock 3 3352 A - 4 - between locking lever and locking cable eye.
^ To compensate for play, pull support bracket in direction of arrow - 5 - to stop and tighten bolt - 6 - to 10 Nm.
^ Remove adjustment pin.
^ Check ignition key removal lock after every adjustment of the locking cable.
^ Install steering column switches.
^ Install steering wheel with airbag.
^ Install center console and extension.
^ Install selector lever handle.
^ Connect battery Ground (GND) strap.
^ Code radio.
^ Initialize electrical window regulators, set clock 36.
