ATF Lines and ATF Cooler, Cleaning



ATF lines and ATF cooler, cleaning, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)
If ATF is dirty, blow through oil cooler and ATF lines with pressurized air (max. 10 bar) before installing transmission.

CAUTION: Wear protective goggles!

^ Remove bracket for solid ATF lines on transmission.





^ Remove bolt - 2 -.
^ Pull off ATF lines from transmission.
^ Connect a hose onto ATF line - A - and secure using hose clamp. Place the other end of the hose into an appropriate container.

Blow through ATF line - B - with pressurized air.

Change hose from ATF line - A - to ATF line - B - and repeat procedure.

Replace O-rings - 1 -.

Moisten O-rings with ATF.

Push ATF lines into transmission by hand up to the limit stop.

Only tighten bolt - 2 - when ATF lines are completely tightened.

Then check ATF level and top off.

Check ATF line connections - A - and - B - for proper seal when checking ATF level.
