Generator (GEN) Ribbed Belt Pulley, Replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items needed







- VAG 1332 Torque wrench (or equivalent 40 - 200 Nm )







- Socket 3310

Removing and installing







Use socket 3310 to loosen/tighten the generator ribbed belt pulley securing nut while counter-holding generator shaft with appropriate multi-tooth socket.

Pulley securing nut tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb).
