Steering angle sensor -G85-, removing and installing
The steering angle sensor is located between the steering wheel and steering column switch.

Removing:
^ Front wheel and steering wheel must be in straight-ahead position.
^ Remove steering wheel.





^ Release the four securing clips (arrows) carefully and take steering angle sensor out toward steering wheel and in same direction as steering column.





^ Release connectors (arrows).

Installing:
^ Front wheel and steering wheel must be in straight-ahead position.
The steering angle sensor -G85-must be in its center position before installing.
^ Press on steering angle sensor -G85- until lugs engage.
^ Remove transportation protection.





^ A yellow mark must be visible in hole (arrow 1).
^ The marks -arrows- must also align.
Make sure it does not move from center position.
Further installation in reverse order
^ Then a zero comparison must be performed.

Note: Start "Guided fault finding" by pressing the "Go to" button in "Select function/component".
