Sensor: Transverse Acceleration, and Sender: Rotation Rate


Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200- and Sender for rotation rate -G202-, removing and installing
On vehicles with a combined Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200- and Sender for Rotation Rate -G202-, the control module can be coded.

The lateral acceleration sender-G200- and the Sender for rotation rate -G202- are integrated together in one housing. The housing is located below the rear seat.

Removing:
^ Remove rear seat.
^ Pull connector off Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.





^ Remove the two securing nuts (arrows).
^ Take out Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.

Installing:

CAUTION! Severe shakes/jolts can destroy the Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.

^ Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence
When installing ensure sensor for transverse acceleration/sender for rotation rate is correctly seated in its bracket and is free of stress.
Do not use the securing nuts to forcibly position the sensor for transverse acceleration/sender for rotation rate.
^ Tighten securing nuts to 6 Nm.
