Luggage Compartment Light Switch -F5- And Trunk Lid Release Switch -E165-, Removing And Installing

NOTE: On wagon models from 10.00, the Luggage Compartment Light Switch -F5- and Trunk Lid Release switch are integrated into the rear lid lock assembly and cannot be replaced separately. Should malfunctions occur, replace entire rear lid lock assembly.

Removing

CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove rear lid lock assembly







- Remove plastic protective cap -A-







- Release luggage compartment light switch -B- from locating tabs and pull upwards from rear lid lock - C -.

Installing
- Insert switch -B- in lock - C - until locating tabs engage.







- Install protective cap.
