- Locking pin 3204

Removing

CAUTION: Before removing ribbed belt, mark direction of rotation. Belt damage will result if not reinstalled in proper direction.

- Bring front end assembly (lock carrier) into service position. [1][2]Procedures
- Remove ribbed belt for A/C compressor







- Turn tensioner with wrench in direction of -arrow- and lock tensioner with pin 3204.
- Remove ribbed belt.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- After installing ribbed belt, check for proper seating and alignment in all pulleys
- Start engine and check belt running
