Backrest Motor With Transmission, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove Recaro seat.
- Remove belt buckle.
- Remove trim, backrest mounting bracket.
- Remove spring cover.
- Remove side seat trim.
- Remove backrest.
- Remove side airbag.
- Remove cover and upholstery from backrest.
- Remove backrest shell.







- Remove spring washer - 4 - from shaft - 3 - - (see magnified area A) -, using screwdriver.
- Pull shaft - 3 - far enough out of backrest frame - 1 - so that backrest motor - 2 - can be removed.
- Disconnect harness connector - 8 -.
- Unthread bolt - 5 - out of threaded bushing - 6 - and remove plastic washers - 7 - and backrest motor - 2 - out of backrest frame - 1 - - (see magnified area B) -.

Installing
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
