2-Way Lumbar Support Motor With Transmission, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove Recaro seat.
- Remove belt buckle.
- Remove trim, backrest mounting bracket.
- Remove spring cover.
- Remove side seat trim.
- Remove backrest.
- Remove side airbag.
- Remove cover and upholstery from backrest.
- Remove backrest shell.
- Remove 2-way lumbar support.







- Cut two cable ties - 5 -.
- Press together lumbar support body and disengage Bowden cable - 6 - in direction - arrow A -.
- Slide retaining pin - 7 - in direction of arrow - arrow B - out of bracket.
- Remove two bolts - 4 -.
- Remove motor with transmission and Bowden cable - 3 - from lumbar support body - 1 -.

Installing







Installation is the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: If replacement part has no foam pieces - 2 -, existing foam pieces must be reused.
