Lock Cylinder Carrier, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove trim for trunk lid.
- Disconnect harness connectors - arrows -.
- Unclip operating rod - 2 - for lid lock.







- Remove nuts - 1 -.
- Remove securing clamp in direction of - arrow - counter clockwise using a screwdriver and hold it in position.
- Remove lock cylinder carrier - 1 - from lid and thereby from grip piece.







- Lock cylinder can now be removed from carrier.

Installing
- Engage locking clamp again.
- Insert lock cylinder into carrier.
- Install complete carrier onto handle trim and threaded pins, and engage into handle trim with an audible click.
