DTCs V.A.G 00000 To 65535

NOTE:
- The following table lists all the malfunctions, with the corresponding 5-digit code numbers, that can be recognized by the Airbag Control Module -J234- and printed out by the V.A.G 1551/VAS 5051.
- The most current information for airbag coding can only be found using the VAS 5051. To access this information through Guided Fault Finding press the "Go to" button, and select "Function/Component selection". Follow the prompts through to Body, General body repairs, 01-Systems capable of self-diagnosis, Airbag, Functions, Code control unit for Airbag.
- DTCs appear only on print-out.
- Before replacing a component shown as inoperative, check wiring and connections to the component as well as Ground connections according to wiring diagram.
- Check all relay plate connections are seated securely.
- When repair has been carried out, the DTC memory must always be checked again with the V.A.G 1551/VAS 5051 Scan Tool and erased.
- In addition, the malfunction type may also appear in the DTC table.
