Torque Converter, Draining

Torque converter, draining, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (FWD)

Special tools and equipment:

^ VAG 1358 A Oil extractor
^ VAG 1358 A/1 Oil extractor probe

If the torque converter has become fouled by abrasion or when performing a major overhaul of the transmission, drain the torque converter as follows:





^ Extract ATF from torque converter using VAG 1358 A and probe VAG 1358 A/1.
