Turbocharger With Attachments, Removing And Installing

Observe rules for cleanliness.
Observe safety precautions.

NOTE:
- Hose connections are secured by spring-type clamps and connector couplings.
- Use lubricant (water with no additives) as necessary. Do not use oil-based lubricants.
- Charge air system must be properly sealed.
- Always replace self-locking nuts.
- Before screwing on oil supply line, fill turbocharger with engine oil at filler tube.
- After installing turbocharger, let engine run at idle for approx. 1 minute and without increasing engine speed. This ensures that charger is lubricated.
- Engine Control Module (ECM) is equipped with On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
- Components marked with * are tested via On Board Diagnostic (OBD), Diagnostic mode 3: Check DTC memory.
