Clutch pedal, removing and installing, 02J, 5 Spd. M/T

Removing
- Removing over-center spring.
- Remove clutch pedal switch, if part of original equipment.
- Separate clutch pedal from master cylinder and push operating rod toward engine compartment until stop.





- Remove nut -A-.
- Pull bolt out until clutch pedal can be removed.

Installing
- Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, when doing this note the following:
- Install over-center spring.





- Install retainer -A- to master cylinder operating rod -B-.
- Press clutch pedal in direction of arrow to engage. Make sure of correct location.
- Fill brake fluid reservoir to "max" with brake fluid.
- Bleed clutch system when fluid level has dropped below "min" mark.
