Wiring Harness With 8-Pin Connector, Removing and Installing



Wiring harness with 8-pin connector, removing and installing, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T

Removing
- Remove oil pan.
- Remove oil strainer.
- Disconnect connectors of hydraulic pressure sensors - 1 - and - 4 -.





- Disconnect connectors - 2 - and - 5 -.

Note: If a connection is damaged, replace the wiring harnesses, the Transmission input speed (RPM) sensor -G182- or the Transmission output speed (RPM) sensor -G195-.

- Remove bolt - 6 -.





- Carefully pull Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93- - 7 - and retainer out of valve body.

Note: For the reinstallation, note the mounting of the retainer on the Transmission fluid temperature sensor G93.

- Unclip wiring harness on retainer - 8 -.





- Disconnect connector - 1 - from transmission connector.
- Remove bolt/screw securing 8-pin transmission connector.
- Pull connector and wiring out of transmission housing.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence of removal. In the process, note the following:
- Replace O-ring on connector.
- Push connector with new O-ring into transmission onto limit stop.
- Tighten bolt for 8-pin transmission connector.
- Tighten bolt for Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93- retainer to 11 Nm.
- Install oil strainer.
- Install oil pan.
