Wiring Harness With 14-Pin Connector, Removing and Installing



Wiring harness with 14-pin connector, removing and installing, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T

Removing
- Remove tensioning roller.
- Remove oil strainer.
- Make a sketch (similar to illustration) of all sensors and solenoid valves along with respective connections.





- Before disconnecting solenoid valves, mark valves along with their respective connections.

Note:
- The sketch and markings are absolutely necessary, to prevent the interchanging of solenoid valve connections when reinstalling the wiring harnesses.
- Interchanged connections could destroy the transmission.

- Carefully pry open retaining lugs of connectors on solenoid valves - 2 - up to - 9 - using a small screwdriver and disconnect.





Note: If a connection is damaged, replace the wiring harnesses or the valve body with solenoid valves.





- Disconnect connector - 2 - from transmission connector.
- Remove bolt/screw securing 14-pin transmission connector.
- Pull connector and wiring out of transmission housing.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence of removal. In the process, note the following:
- Replace O-ring on connector.
- Push connector with new O-ring into transmission up to limit stop.
- Tighten bolt for 14-pin transmission connector.
- Tighten retainer bolts for speed sensor connections.
- Tighten bolt for Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93- retainer to 11 Nm.
- Install oil strainer.
- Install oil pan.
