Basic setting, initiating, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T
Basic setting must be performed after the following repairs:
- replacing engine control module
- replacing throttle valve control module
- replacing transmission control module
- replacing throttle position (accelerator pedal position) sensor
- Connect VAS 5051 tester and select functions.

The following description refers to V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool





Indicated on display
- Press keys 0 and 4. (04 selects function "Initiating basic setting").

Note: Accelerator pedal must remain at idling speed position.

- Confirm entry with Q key.





Indicated on display
- Press keys 0, 0 and 1.
- Confirm entry with Q key.





Indicated on display
The system is now in basic setting.
