Selector Mechanism and Printed Circuit Board Cover, Removing and Installing

Selector mechanism and printed circuit board cover, removing and installing, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T

Removing
- Remove selector lever handle.
- Move pull rod upward and shift selector lever to position "P" with pull rod still held up.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove center console





- Disconnect printed circuit board connector - 1 -.
- Pull connector out of hole - arrow - in retainer - 2 -.





- Carefully pry up retaining lugs - arrows - (Qty 4).

Note: If the retaining lugs - arrows - are damaged replace the complete cover.

- Take complete selector mechanism cover off upward.





- Take printed circuit board off of fixing points on frame - arrows -.

Installing

Note: Ensure when installing the printed circuit board that the contacts are not damaged and that the printed circuit board is not bent.





- Position printed circuit board on fixing points on frame - arrows -.





- Reconnect printed circuit board connector - 1 -.
- Clip connection into hole - arrow - in retainer - 2 -.





- Position cover carefully onto selector mechanism and lock in position using retaining lugs - arrows - (Qty 4).

Note: If the retaining lugs - arrows - are damaged replace the complete cover.

- Install center console
- Install selector lever handle.
