Transmission, securing to assembly stand, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Holding fixture VW 313:

Holding fixture VW 540:

- Secure transmission to holding fixture VW540 - arrows - and prepare to mount it in holding fixture VW313.
- Install using workshop crane V.A.G1202A with shackle 10-222 A/12, Transmission, transporting; Transmission, transmission.

CAUTION: The transmission center of gravity is outside the point of rotation of the holding fixture. When turning the transmission over, a second technician is required to hold the housing to stop the transmission from swinging back.

Note: If a transmission, filled with oil, is to be turned so that the oil pan is on top, first seal the breathers in the transmission housing.
