Shift Interlock Relay: Service and Repair

Starting interlock relay -J207-, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting Component Locations

- Remove cover in driver's footwell
- Turn ignition key to position "Start".
- Move selector lever from position "S" to "P" and back again.
- Starting interlock relay -J207- must audibly and perceptibly operate.
- If there is no fault, the starter must operate in positions "N" or "P".
- If the relay does not operate:
- Check Starting interlock relay -J207- and wiring connections according to wiring diagram.
