Tiptronic switch -F189-, 09G, 6 Spd. A/T





Location: integrated into printed circuit board which is located in selector lever cover.

The Tiptronic switch consists of hall sensors which are activated by a magnet - arrow - located on the cover strip sliding cover - 2 -.

If malfunctioning, first ensure that the magnet - arrow - is securely attached to the cover strip sliding cover - 2 -, and replace the cover strip if necessary. Replace the selector mechanism cover with integrated printed circuit once the wiring has been checked.

On vehicles with a multi-function steering wheel, also check the buttons on the steering wheel and the wiring connections.
