Poly V-belt, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required





^ Retaining pin T10060 A

Removing
- Mark poly V-belt direction of rotation.





- Turn tensioner in - direction of arrow - to relieve tension on poly V-belt.





- Lock tensioner with retaining pin T10060 A.
- Remove right side sound insulation.
- Remove poly V-belt.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:

Note:
^ Before installing the poly V-belt, ensure that all ancillaries (Generator, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump) are secured tightly.
^ When installing the poly V-belt, check the direction of belt rotation and proper seating of the belt in the pulleys.
^ For models without air conditioning, put the poly V-belt over the Generator last.
^ For models with air conditioning, put the poly V-belt over the air conditioning compressor last.

After completing repairs always:
- Start engine and check belt running.
