Headlight Bulbs, Replacing







Headlight bulbs, assembly
1. Retaining clip
2. High beam bulb
3. Electrical connector for high beam
4. Locating lugs
5. Low beam bulb
6. Electrical connector for low beam

Low beam bulb, removing
- Remove applicable front headlight.
- Remove cover on rear of headlight insert.
- Disconnect electrical connector -6- from low beam bulb.
- Push spring retaining clip -1- over lugs -4- and move to side.
- Pull low beam bulb -5- out from reflector.

Low beam bulb, installing

CAUTION: Do not touch the glass portion of the bulb with bare hands. The moisture and/or grease from fingers that evaporates on the bulb during operation, can cause the glass to cloud over.

- Insert new bulb so lugs on laminated plate align with grooves in reflector.
- After installing new low beam bulb check headlight aim.

High beam bulb, removing







- Remove applicable front headlight.
- Remove cover on rear of headlight insert.
- Disconnect electrical connector -3- from high beam bulb.
- Push spring retaining clip -1- over the lugs -4- and move to side.
- Pull high beam bulb -2- out from reflector.
