Oil pan, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required





^ Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

Removing
- Remove oil pan.
- Remove baffle plate.





- Remove bolt - 2 -.
- Pull chain sprocket off oil pump.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 - and remove oil pump.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
^ Fit dowel sleeves at top of oil pump.
^ Installation position of oil pump shaft/chain sprocket. Installation possible in one position only.
- Install baffle plate.
- Install oil pan.
