Note:
^ The socket designations of the Adapter cable, 121 pin V.A.G 1598/31 are identical to the contact designations of the engine control module in the wiring diagram.
^ If the measured values differ from the specifications, carry out the measures for rectifying malfunctions in the right-hand part of the table.
^ If the measured values only differ slightly from the specifications, clean the sockets and connectors of the test units and measuring lines (with contact spray G 000 700 04) and repeat test. Before replacing the individual components, check lines and connections as well as, (particularly at specifications under 10 Ohms) repeating the resistance measurement of the component.
