Front Treble & Midrange Speakers -R20-/-R22-, -R26-/-R27-, Removing and Installing

Removing

CAUTION:
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.







- Slide instrument panel center cover -1- in direction of -arrow A- and remove.







- Remove screws -arrows-.







- Lift inner plenum chamber cover slightly.







- Depress locking tabs and disconnect electrical connection -arrows-.







- Carefully drill out rivets -arrows- or remove screws-arrows- as applicable and remove speaker.

NOTE: Installation position.

Installing







- Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following.
- Screws: tightening torque: 3 Nm (27 in.lb)
- Secure speaker with locally available pop rivets of proper length and diameter.
