Combi-valve, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

NOTE: Always replace seals, gaskets and O-rings.

Removing
- Remove engine cover.
- Remove intake hose.
- Remove pressure hose between combi-valve and secondary air pump at combi-valve.

NOTE: To do this press corrugated areas of rest ring together.

- Pull vacuum hose off combi-valve.
- Remove combi-valve.

Installing
Further assembly is basically the reverse of the disassembly procedure.
Tightening torque for combi-valve on cylinder head.
