Removal and Replacement

Locking cable for ignition with key withdrawal lock, removing and installing

Only vehicles with automatic transmission
Adjust locking cable.

Removing
- Remove steering wheel.
- Remove trim for steering column switch.
- Shift selector lever into position P if necessary.





- Turn ignition key - A - to ignition on position.
- Press wire clip - 1 - up or down according to installation position and pull at the same ignition lock cable - 2 - out at the same time.

Installing
- Shift selector level into P position.





- Turn ignition key - A - to ignition on position.
- Push lock cable - 2 - into steering lock housing until wire clip - 1 - engages.
