1. Shift rod with shift fork for 3rd and 4th gear

3. Left stop bolt, 40 Nm

5. Relay shaft

10. Torx bolt, 25 Nm

Oil collector tray, removing and installing
Removing
^ Turn oil collector tray and remove
Installing
Installed position:
Oil collector tray faces upward in transmission cover
^ Push oil collector tray into transmission until it snaps in.
Marking of transmission cover and housing
The inscription "Mg Al 9 Zn 1" can be found in vicinity of - arrow 1 - and - arrow 2 - on transmissions manufactured from magnesium.
Mg = magnesium; additional information depends on manufacturing.
Connecting bolts for transmission cover to housing modified for transmissions made out of magnesium
As of transmission manufacture date 25 09 7, only bolts with a washer are installed in the 5 lower holes - arrows -.
Bolts are 51 mm in length
In this area, bolts without washer must not be used.
The transmission cover will be damaged below contact surface of bolt head due to contact corrosion.
